Thank You, Colonial Beach Community Foundation

Colonial Beach Community Radio includes the Colonial Beach Community Foundation (CBCF) on its list of sponsors.  But make no mistake, the Colonial Beach Community Foundation is much more than a “sponsor” of WWER.  For 2019, the foundation is the entity holding the FCC license for the station.  More importantly, CBCF has provided a substantial contribution to WWER in support of our 2019 budget.

CBCF’s mission is straightforward: “Build a better community by making philanthropy easy”.  CBCF’s support of WWER is a shining example of that mission in action.  Colonial Beach Community Radio, WWER 88.1 FM will be forever indebted to the foundation for enabling our town’s radio station to become a reality.  It simply could not have happened without the foundation’s initial “leap of faith” and their ongoing support.
