Functional Fitness with Paula at the Colonial Beach Community Center from 10-11.  The  Colonial Beach Community Center is at 717 Marshall Ave. Bring your mat and be ready to work. Classes are reasonably priced and presented by Colonial Beach Parks & Rec.

The Ice House has Music Trivia Karaoke and $10 Burger Night.

CB Brewing has Gather@CBB welcomes Downtown Colonial Beach, 6:30-8pm. Hear what’s in the works for downtown, ask your questions, and share your ideas over a pint. Good neighbors, real answers, and a cold local beer. All welcome.

Thursday, October 29th

Colonial Beach Farmers Market will be at the Colonial Beach Fire Department, from 8-1.  Vendors include Lesleys Gardens and Reye’s Farms.

Ice House has Trivia Night at 7.

CB Brewing has Open mic every Thursday, 7-10pm, hosted by Brian Jarboe. Singers, pickers, poets, and first-timers all welcome. Sign up when you arrive. Plus a rotating $3 pint special all night.

Friday, October 30th

Enjoy Hatha Yoga with Paula on Fridays from 10-11 AM at the Colonial Beach Community Center,  717 Marshall Ave. Bring your mat and be ready to sweat. Classes are reasonably priced and presented by Colonial Beach Parks & Rec.

CB Brewing has Halloween drag show hosted by Destiny B. Childs with Monet Dupree, Shirley Naytch, and Shelita Ramen, Miss Capital Pride. DJ BJ spinning all night. $40 ticket includes complimentary buffet dinner. Doors 6:00pm, show 7:00pm.

Saturday, October 31st

The Ice House has Breakfast 8:30-11am in the café; Halloween Costume Contest.

The Colonial Beach Parks and Recreation, is hosting a Halloween Outdoor Movie, Beetlejuice, on Town Hill, from 8:15 – 11.  Bring your blanket or camp chair or sit in your golf cart to enjoy the movie. This 1988 classic Halloween movie starring Michael Keaton, Wynona Rider and Catherine O’Hara is brought to you by the Town of Colonial Beach Parks, Recreation & Events Department.

“The United Methodist Church is holding a Trunk-or-Treat event on Halloween from 5-7pm on Halloween in their parking lot. You can enjoy candy and hot dogs at this family friendly event, and win a $75 gift card for having the best decorated car or golf cart.”

Sunday, November 1st

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, in Oak Grove,  will be celebrating the Feast of All Saints Day.  Traditionally, during the Prayers of the People, we read aloud the names of our loved ones who have passed, offering prayers on their behalf.  If you wish to have your loved one remembered on this day, please send their name to our Parish Administrator at [email protected] by Saturday, October 24th.
