Happy May Day! As many of you know, we have several talk shows that rotate through the month. The first show of each month is our popular Porch Talk show. Our May episode features an interview with Father David Casey, the new pastor at St. Mary’s Church in Colonial Beach. The interview covers a range of topics, beginning with Casey’s unconventional path to priesthood, including his time at the Merchant Marine Academy, work in finance, and his eventual embrace of the Episcopal Church. The conversation also highlights his unique style as a priest, such as his children’s sermons and the “holy foolishness” blessing.
