Meet Pat Neleski, who donates her time and effort to the community garden run by CB Greenspace.  After completing specialized training, Neleski implemented a structured allotment system and partnered with local agencies to offer educational classes on gardening and food preservation. The project fosters local sustainability by renting individual plots and donating hundreds of pounds of fresh produce to food pantries. Supported by the CB Greenspace board, the garden serves as a therapeutic space that strengthens community bonds and improves the well-being of its volunteers. Neleski emphasizes that a strong organizational foundation is essential for maintaining the garden’s growth and long-term viability.
