Potomac River festival is here!

Lots of exciting things happening this weekend at the Potomac River Festival, and WWER will be there! Keep listening for information about scheduled events. Ted Tait will be the MC for the boat parade on Sunday at 1PM. The weather is looking a little iffy, so stay tuned to WWER for updates and possible cancellations.

This week on Town Matters, we interview Dr. Henri Parson about the Rural Health Connect project, a digital platform designed to provide health information and resources to rural communities. Dr. Parson explains that this project is a research study funded by the National Institutes of Health, in partnership with universities like VCU and Old Dominion University, with the goal of improving health literacy and awareness.
