WWER will be testing out our new remote broadcast gear by visiting the PRYCA boaters at the Community Center and broadcasting LIVE Saturday 4-7PM!. Listen in for special music and interviews!

Talk of the Town – Ever wondered was would become of the old CB Games space? You know, the one next to Peddler’s Market? WWER volunteer Erich interviews Evan Vang, and Joseph “Joey” Glover about just that! Joey is pursuing a lifelong dream by opening Fat Chance Pub and Billiards in Colonial Beach, an establishment he envisions as a family-friendly sports pub and restaurant with a full bar and an emphasis on American fare with a unique culinary spin. Currently in the build-out phase, a food truck is operating on-site to generate revenue and test menu items.

PERFECT HOUR – This week’s Perfect Hour is Yacht Rock and songs about boating in honor of all the boats visiting Colonial Beach from the Potomac River Yacht Clubs Association (PRYCA). It’s their first year hosting a float-in here, so please make them feel welcome!
