This is the WWER 88.1 events calendar.  A weekly roundup of events and entertainment in and around Colonial Beach.

On Tuesday, October 10, CB Brewing has Yoga with Dani Moon starting at 6:00 and Colonial Buzz Wine and Espresso Bar has Yappy Hour from 4:00 to 7:00 with treats and refreshments for dogs and their humans.

Wednesday, October 11, is teacher and first responder appreciation night at CB Brewing and also the weekly CB Trivia Contest starting at 6:00. The Ice House has Karaoke with Amanda also starting at 6:00.

On Thursday, October 12, The Ice House has Trivia starting at 7:00.  At 8PM, WWER presents Town Matters.  This month we again speak with mayor Robin Schick about a variety of topics including the new trash toters and new water/sewer connection fees.

On Friday, October 13, MarJo Delux will be at the Ice House starting at 6:30.

On Saturday, October 14, CB Brewing will be on town Hill for the Beach to Beer 5K and 10K Runs and the Virginia Osprey Foundation will be celebrating World Migratory Bird Day at Cooper Memorial Library in Colonial Beach from 10 am to 12 pm. There will be information available about birds and their migration as well as age appropriate books available for check out and activities for children. All ages are welcome!  In the evening Everett Stora and Friends will be at the Ice House starting at 6:30.  At 9AM WWER presents Town Matters.  This month we again speak with mayor Robin Schick about a variety of topics including the new trash toters and new water/sewer connection fees.

On Sunday, October 15, CB Brewing will have an open Jam Session starting at 2:00 and it is Juke Box Sunday at the Ice House.
