This is the WWER 88.1 events calendar.  A weekly roundup of events and entertainment in and around Colonial Beach.

On Wednesday, August 24, the Ice House will have Karaoke with Amanda Rogers starting at 6:00 and CB Brewing will hold its weekly Trivia Contest with Rhonda, beginning at 6:00.

On Thursday, August 25, the Ice House will have Trivia Thursday with Shelley starting at 7:00 and CB Brewing will have Music Bingo with DJ Hawt Sauce starting at 6:00.  At 8:00PM, tune in for Talk of The Town – Colonial Beach is buzzing about our new Mexican restaurant, Los Hermanos Cantina!  On Talk of the Town, meet Jesus Martin, one of the owners.  Jesus talks about how he came to open his first restaurant in Colonial Beach and a bit about the menu.

On Friday, August 26, Scenic Roots will be playing at CB Brewing starting at 6:00, Cactus Jack will be at High Tides starting at 7:00, The Hard To Tell Band will be playing at the Highmark Brewery in Fredericksburg from 6:00 to 9:00, Ryan French will be at Dockside starting at 6:00 and MarJo Delux will be at the Ice House from 6:30 to 9:30.

On Saturday, August 27, Start your day at 9:00AM by tuning into Talk of the Town on WWER.  This week we talk to Jesus Martin, one of the owners of the new Los Hermanos Cantina Mexican restaurant on The Point.  In the evening, Cameron Ashton will be playing at CB Brewing starting at 7:00, Back 2 Zero will be at Dockside starting at 7:00, The Hard To Tell Band will be playing at Ruby’s Restaurant in Hague, from 6:00 to 9:00, Prettier in Person will be at the Ice House from 6:30 to 9:30 and Its All Good will be at High Tides starting at 7:00. Also on Saturday, Queen of Shadezzz and Lenny’s Restaurant are teaming up to host a Sizzlin’ Summer Pop Up From 10:00 to 3:00 at the Colonial Beach Fire Dept., helping to raise funds for a fire engine.

On Sunday, August 28, Robin and the Birdie River Band will be playing at the Ice House Brewery, The Bleu Gene Gentry Band will be at High Tides and Hydra FX will be at Dockside, all starting at 3:00 and Ted will be on the Grill at CB Brewing, starting at 2:00.

On Monday, August 29, CB Brewing has Yoga with Dani Moon starting at  6:00.
