Happy 4th of July to everyone! As you probably know, the town’s official fireworks display is this Friday July 3 from Town Pier around 9PM. WWER will play patriotic music to go with the display, so bring your portable radio with you to the beach!
This week on WWER we have a fresh episode of Porch Talk – an interview with Frank Alger, a local resident and multi-talented figure in Colonial Beach. Alger, a retired federal employee and veteran, discusses his unique hobby of creating AI-generated music to celebrate our town’s rich history and local businesses. You’ve probably already heard his songs on WWER and wondered “who is that singing about Colonial Beach”? Here’s your chance to find out!
